About Me

As a mum of 2 girls I know all to well the challenges faced in pregnancy and motherhood.  It is one of the most incredible and special moments in your life when you get that positive test result but it also brings a wave of anxiety along with it. It is a life changing event filled with lots of amazing moments and hurdles. When they say it takes a village...it definitely does! 

I have worked in the beauty industry for 20 years and had my own beauty salon for 16 years. My passion has always been to make people feel good about themselves and always had a passion for peoples wellbeing. After using Hypnobirthing in my first birth which was filled with hurdles it sparked a new passion-to help parents to be navigate the maternity system in NHS Lothian and to nurture them in their steps into parenthood...and boy do I love it! I trained in Hypnobirthing with Abby at Love your Birth in 2021 and now also volunteer as part of the Maternity Voice Panel & the Active Birth Group in NHS Lothian to help improve the maternity services in our area.

 Teaching baby massage is a priviledge, which I absolutely love, I used baby classes as a way to meet new friends, escape my own 4 walls and help with my daughters reflux.
